Shaketail XXII, held the first weekend in August, will include a Night Shoot!!! Shooters that want to register just for the night shoot are welcome. Make plans now!
We shoot monthly at the Frontier Sportsman’s Club at the Fountain Range. We are moving back to our spring/summer hours. That means setup will start at 8:00, sign-in will start at 8:30 and the safety briefing will be at 9:00. For directions and important gate information click HERE.

Established in 1989, the Colorado Shaketails are the oldest cowboy action shooting society in the Colorado Territory. The Colorado Shaketails are a SASS affiliated club holding monthly shoots at the Frontier Sportsman's Club, Fountain Range. We are located about 25 miles south of Colorado Springs. If you enjoy shooting and the lore of the old west, you've found the right place. Come on in and spend some time exploring our home web site.
